About the Role

As a Parks and Recreation Operator, you'll be a vital part of our team – with a focus on parks rubbish removal, cleaning amenities and attending to issues that arise at our public parks and areas. You'll feel a sense of pride knowing that you and your team keep our shire beautiful.

We’re looking for team players who are a great fit and who are eager to learn and contribute.

You’ll receive the training and support you need to safely operate equipment while being a part of a supportive crew

You’ll work under the Local Government (State) Award, with opportunities to grow your career while making a real difference in the community

What We’re Looking For

• Must have a MR driver licence (As this role will operate Council's waste collection truck)
• Must have a SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• A great attitude and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and get stuck in, even when the task gets hard
• A reliable and dependable team player who takes pride in completing every task with integrity and efficiency
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Brings a positive, proactive, and community-focused attitude to each task

Pre-Employment Screening

Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete pre-employment screening including a hearing test and drug and alcohol screening
