Blayney Shire Council is seeking a motivated, organised and customer-focused Administration Officer – Infrastructure Services to join our team.

From supporting the Director of Infrastructure Services and coordinating meetings, to assisting customers, managing records and helping deliver Council projects and services, you'll play an important role behind the scenes.

About the Role
As the Administration Officer – Infrastructure Services, you'll provide high-quality administrative and customer service support across the Infrastructure Services Department and to the Director Infrastructure Services.
You'll be someone who enjoys being organised, keeping on top of competing priorities and helping others get things done.
Your days may include:

Providing executive administrative support to the Director Infrastructure Services

Preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, notes, records and action registers

Assisting with Council registers, statutory reporting and records management

Undertaking research and assisting with submissions and correspondence

Supporting Council functions, events and promotional activities
-
Working collaboratively with other Administration Officers and Council teams
You'll also be expected to contribute to a safe, respectful and professional workplace and undertake training and professional development to maintain your skills and compliance.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, professional, approachable and ready to make a difference.
You'll ideally have:

Appropriate qualifications in Administration or a related discipline

Experience providing high-level administrative or executive support

The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Experience in electronic records management systems and strong computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases

A strong commitment to delivering quality customer service
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team
