Blayney Shire Council is located in Central West NSW, a comfortable 3.5 hours’ drive west of Sydney. The major regional centres of Bathurst and Orange are approximately 30 minutes drive away.  The Central West offers excellent educational, employment, medical and lifestyle opportunities, with easy access to both Sydney and Canberra.

General Information about these positions

Conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award. 

The full-time rate of pay is currently within the range of $1,044.00 to $1,200.60 per week, plus superannuation, in accordance with Council’s salary system.

The casual rate of pay is currently $34.34 per hour, plus superannuation, in accordance with Council’s salary system.  This rate is inclusive of a 25% casual loading.

To be considered for this position you must be eligible to live and work in Australia.
